The SINGLE Most Profitable Google Adsense Ad Type

"Logging Into Adsense For The First Time"

So lets finally start picking out Google Adsense ad types and formats so you can implement them on your website and start making money. Google has created many different types of Adsense ad shapes to allow you fit those perfect little ads anywhere on your site where you please. And don’t worry about making Google Adsense code, they have a nifty little tool that easily writes up the code for you. You simply select which options interest you, and click create, and then copy and paste into your site.

Google Adsense ad types are not all the same, picking the BEST and most PROFITABLE Google Adsense ad format makes people click instead of ignoring your Adsense ads. Alright, to begin picking the Google Adsense code first you have to log in:Log In

From the main page click on “Adsense Setup” which will take you to the selection page. If you can’t find the button we’re referring to have a look at this brief picture guide Google created:Google Adsense Quick Start

Now that you’re about to start creating your ads, you need to pick out which Google Adsense ad format you wish to use. The following page shows you a sample picture of each ad format so you can decide which size and shape will best fit your Google Adsense website.Google Adsense Ad Formats

The most common Google Adsense ads that you see are “Adsense for content”, but you also have the option of using “Adsense for search” which just gives the surfer a Google search bar incase nothing on your site fits what they were looking for.

"Picking The BEST And Most PROFITABLE Adsense Ad Format"

So after you’ve logged in and clicked “Adsense Setup” at the top of the page, and you’ve clicked “Adsense for content” you’re ready to begin making your Google Adsense code. From the first drop down menu at the top select the type of ad format you want, the most common (plus most effective, reliable, and highest profiting) is “Text ads only” so that is what I advise you choose. In the next section you decide the size and shape of the ad that works best. Click the link above if you want to look at the Google Adsense ad formats again.
The most popular Google Adsense ad formats are the Wide Skyscraper (160x600) and the Large Rectangle (336 x 280). The wide skyscraper is commonly found on the right hand side of the page and the medium rectangle is commonly placed inside your text, often at the top left of the paragraph. DO NOT UNDERESTIMATE the power of the Large Rectangle Adsense Ad Format. The Large Rectangle outperforms all the other Adsense Ad Types by far!
Now pick colors that you think will fit your Adsense web site color scheme. I like to leave them plain black with maybe a blue color for the link and either a white background or one that matches the background of your site. We’ll go over color schemes again a little later in tips and secrets section.

The Google Adsense program allows you to track your ads individually by placing them into what they call “channels”. You place a certain ad into a channel, or a group of ads into a channel, and later when you look at your stats, you will see which channel had the most impressions, clicks, best click through rate, etc. This is how you can find out which ads work and which don’t. Track by pages on your site, ad size and shape, color, positioning on the pages, etc. you decide.

Once you’ve decided all the options scroll down, click continue, and copy your code. Hopefully you’ve decided where you want to place the code on your website, so now just open up the HTML editor, locate the part of the page where you want the Google Adsense ad to go, and paste it right in.
For their Adsense program, Google puts limits for how many ads you can have per page. Google allows you to have up to 3 Text Ads, 1 Link Unit, and 1 Search for Content search bar per page. So you may use as many as you think are necessary, but don’t go too overboard, and definitely don’t go past Google’s limits of 3, 1, and 1 respectively.

Once you’ve placed the ads into the pages, upload them to your server, and view the pages a few times. This will trigger the Google Adsense spider and Google will send it right over to check out the new page. Once it sees the code for the Adsense ads it will make note of it and immediately start sending the Adsense ads to your page. Remember don’t click, and just wait they will eventually come up. Also remember that you can’t pick which ads come up from the Google Adsense page, the only way you can change which ads come up is by altering your content.

As a side note, don’t under estimate the power of the Search for Content option that Google Adsense gives you. If your surfers aren’t pleased with your Text Ads, and the categories that show up on your Link Units aren’t exactly what the surfer was in search of, they can simply type their search query into the Adsense Search for Content search bar and that will load up a new page for them with results. What is excellent here is that if a surfer clicks on any of the ads on that surf page, guess who gets credit for them…you.
