6 Top Google Adsense Tips Increase Clicks 13.7X Times

"Heat Maps - Positioning For Visibility"

Now here are the Google Adsense tips for your blog or website that start boosting that click through ratio. Google Adsense ads can be tweaked just right, and positioned just right, where your surfers will see the ads but not disregard them as total blatant advertising. Making your Adsense ads look like part of the content is what draws readers into giving you your Adsense Ad clicks. Google presents you with a nice image (displayed below) which actually shows you where surfers are most likely to look on the page when they arrive. For more info you can go to the Google.com page where this image was taken from: Where should I place Google ads on my pages?

There are many Google Adsense tips that are simple, easy, but help raise click through ratio. There's a difference between having Adsense ads and having Adsense ads CLICKED ON. These are exactly why my CTR is so high.
"Above the Fold"If you notice in that Google heat maps image, most of the darker spots (indicating increased viewing compared to the lighter areas), are on the top half of the page. This top half of the page is called the ‘fold’. When a surfer enters a website, they tend to read what they currently see on the page before they scroll down, and so it has been said that they read ‘above the fold’. If the surfer doesn’t find the content above the fold isn’t appealing they may leave giving credit to the saying that first impressions count. They can either leave, or quickly click on another part of the part to take them somewhere else. So why not give your Google Adsense ads the most exposure you can? If you know that above the fold is the part of your website that will be seen first and the most, then by putting the Google Adsense ads right up there you will instantly increase your Adsense clicks by users. Great Adsense tip, because if someone visits your page, and intends to leave quickly, they won't even bother scrolling down, so if they want to leave your page fast, give them a Google Adsense ad to click on to get out.

"Matching"Now, the most crucial instructions, the so called Google Adsense tips and secrets that cause your click through ratio to go through the roof, any guesses at what it could be??. You’ll be kind of disappointed at how obvious but nevertheless overlooked these little Google Adsense secrets are. However, I wouldn’t be too disappointed, because with these few small tweaks and changes to those Adsense ads you’ll be sure to make money. Remember those flashy annoying banner ads? Now do you remember how you knew that they were advertisements the moment you landed on a web site? They didn’t fit! The advertisers were so busy trying to make you notice the ads, that after time we’ve become desensitized to the whole ‘stand out’ and ‘pop out’ effect. Now instead of those ads catching our attention, we immediately know to avoid them because they are just trying to sell us something. Google Adsense ads made a huge step in the right direction by creating small, informational, and unobtrusive Adsense Text ads. The more your Google Adsense ads blend with the page and the content, the more likely that a surfer will take a look at them and click.

"Matching Background"So the first is to match backgrounds – the Google Adsense ad’s background color should match the background color of your website. This will ensure that the ad isn’t drawing unnecessary attention that can immediately get it labeled as advertising. If I had to pick a handful of Google Adsense secrets, I would definitely use this one, it is crucial to make money with Google Adsense! Now matching your Google Adsense ad background to the site background is only one option. This option is best used when you are placing the Google Adsense ads right into the content, like for example if it is between paragraphs or right along side some of the text. This way, when a reader is reading through the content, it will appear as if the Adsense ads are part of what you intended them to read, and if they find the content to be quality and trustworthy, that appeal may be transferred over to the Google Adsense ads leading to one or even multiple clicks. Here is a quick example of matching the Google Adsense ad background to content background:

The second option for background matching would be to match the Google Adsense ad background to the background of your menus and navigational sections of the website. Using this technique, the surfer will believe that all the sections of that color background will lead them to different sections of the website. Here is a quick picture example of this in action:

So in a way, you are tricking the surfer into clicking on a Google Adsense ad, however, the surfer isn’t losing out on the deal since they picked the topic of that Adsense ad over something else you had in your navigational menu, so they are still getting what they want. The quality of the site that the Google Adsense ad takes them to may not be a good as yours, but hey they can always come back if they enjoyed reading your site – I’m sure you wouldn’t mind the few extra clicks they make on their way out.

"Matching Text"

Same concept as with matching backgrounds, if the text size and font of the Google Adsense ads match with the text size and font of the content on your page, or of the navigation menus, the Adsense ads will not stick out as much. General rule of thumb, where ever you place the Google Adsense ads, and you are trying to make them blend in, match as much as possible. Another key ‘Google Adsense secret’ keep this one in mind, because text matching combined with background matching are an enormous help!

"Matching URLs"

People don’t tend to click on URLs of websites, but rather they prefer to click on the link text that describes the content on the other side of the link. In this case, you don’t want the http://www..... at the bottom of the Google Adsense Text ads to be bright and stand out drawing the surfer’s attention. So make sure that the Adsense URL at the bottom is the same color and font as the rest of the text of the Google Adsense ad which should also be the same as your content’s text color and font.
